Introduction

Hello! My name is Annie and I am a once again attempt - blogger, who waited six months into this sad Pandemic, to try blogging. Never successful at this before, I hope to begin with a short introduction for my first blog post.

First and foremost, I would like to share that I am not a writer, I am bilingual and when it comes to sentence structure, grammar, or storytelling whatever I type is what will be posted. Posts will be a mash-up of things that will include craft projects, plants, cooking, baking, vintage finds, and most importantly my daily walk with Christ Jesus. Although some days I feel like Tom Hanks from "Cast Away" with a Wilson soccer ball, my soccer ball is Jesus. Amen! 

At the start of 2020, I was a human mess who was lost in toxic relationships, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. It took the Covid-19 Pandemic and a 5.6 magnitude earthquake completely shake me to my core and return me to the LORD. In six months the LORD has worked his grace on me and changed my life entirely. I am an honest testimony that the life I had prior to Jesus is not one that I care for, or ever want to return to. 

Becoming a follower of Jesus has opened my eyes to comfort and peace to my pain and my tears. I see life in a whole new way and I pray daily for the Holy Spirit to guide me daily because I never want the peace to ever leave me. And although I am physically alone, I have actually learned to once again love it, even during this Pandemic. I have my daughter here in Salt Lake and my family in Florida a group text or call away. But most importantly, my LORD Jesus is with me and that is ultimately who is most important in my life. 

So to the blog world or anyone who may be interested in reading a new blog, I hope this blog My Happy Medium will be a source of inspiration and entertainment as I am sure it will be for me in my attempt in writing into it!
